Your Questions About Hypnosis Answered!

🎯 Let’s get you unstuck.

What is Hypnosis... Really?

Ever catch yourself staring out a window, totally zoned out, then snap back and realize five minutes have passed? That is actually hypnosis.

It isn't mind control. It's just focus control.
And your brain is already doing it all of the time. But the process of hypnosis with someone like me is just to help you direct it.

That's exactly how I'm going to help you stop spiraling in self-doubt, stop repeating the old patterns, and actually make the changes that you want.

You've already been hypnotized, but the real question is... Do you want to start using it on purpose?

Is Hypnosis Mind Control?

Can hypnosis make me do things I don't want to do? No. I'm just going to say it. No. If hypnosis could make you do things against your will, I would be rich because I would just hypnotize people to send me money. But that's not how this whole process works.

Hypnosis only works if it's something that you want to be doing, and it aligns with what you already want.

If anything I say or a suggestion feels wrong to your brain, it will straight up reject it. So, no, you are not going to cluck like a chicken or tell me your deepest, darkest secrets... unless you really want to.

Is Hypnosis Safe?

So is hypnosis actually safe? Hypnosis is literally YOU using your own brain in a more effective way. It's certainly safer than scrolling your phone for three hours where you're going to get all kinds of BS fed to your brain.

And it's safer than beating yourself up for procrastinating or drowning in self doubt. It's literally just focus, intention, and a little bit of science... and I'm there to guide you. No mind control, no weirdness, just tools that actually work.

What if I Can't Be Hypnotized?

A lot of people come to me wondering, what if I can't be hypnotized? But you ever drive a car or ride on a bus or train and get there and realize you don't remember the last few turns? That's actually hypnosis.

You ever get so lost in a book or a TV show or videos on TikTok that somebody has to say your name three times for you to hear them? Also hypnosis. In fact, your brain is doing it literally all the time. My only question is, do you actually want to start using it to help?

How Long Does it Take to See Results with Hypnosis?

You might be wondering, how long does it take for hypnosis to work? How many sessions? Some of those changes that you want to make happen pretty instantly, like flipping a switch. Others are more like planting seeds that grow over time.

But here's what I can tell you. The moment you stop resisting change, things start shifting fast. And hypnosis? It's the easiest way to get your brain to stop fighting you and start working FOR you.

Typically, I ask my clients, what would it be like to feel even 2% or 5% or 10% better, whatever "better" means for them. And oftentimes they tell me THAT would be worth the money.

So, whether change happens instantly for you, or whether it grows over time, the end result is still the same, and the majority of my clients see me for between two and four sessions to get the result that they want.

Do I Need to "Believe" in Hypnosis for it to Work?

Do you need to believe in hypnosis for it to work? Well, hypnosis is like gravity: It works whether you believe in it or not.

You've already got subconscious thoughts and feeling patterns that are running the show. Hypnosis just helps to rewrite what's going on there.

So, if you're skeptical, that's fine with me. Try it anyway. Worst case scenario, you spend a little bit of time learning how to deeply relax yourself. Best case, your whole life changes.

Is Hypnosis Like Meditation?

Meditation is an awesome tool, but let's be real: It's passive. It's kind of like sitting by a river, watching your thoughts float by. And it's great for calming stress and anxiety.

But hypnosis? That's getting in the damn boat and steering it. Hypnosis is not just about relaxing, although it CAN be relaxing. Hypnosis is actually about rewiring the patterns in your brain, so that changes you want to make in your life become so much easier.

So, if you've tried meditation in the past and you find yourself sitting, struggling, this is not what that is. If meditation hasn't worked for you, don't write off hypnosis, because this is a whole different game. And spoiler, it's a lot more fun, too.

What Can I Expect in a One-on-One Hypnosis Session?

So, you're wondering what a session with me is actually like. I'm going to ask you block out 90 minutes of your day, and we usually meet for weekly meetings for however long we're going to meet.

When our session starts, we're going to have a conversation for 15 to 30 minutes or so. We're going to understand what you're focusing on that week. And after I have a good understanding of everything that's going on and the changes we need to make, that's when we're going to ratify it through a hypnosis session. The hypnotic process takes about 25 to 30 minutes.

Afterwards, we're going to have a discussion about what you have experienced, what's already starting to change, and what you can expect next.

And through the hypnosis process, I'm going to show you step by step exactly how to direct your focus and attention on what ACTUALLY matters to YOU so that you can stop the overthinking and the self-doubt and do what YOU want to do with your life.

Will I Remember What Happens in My Hypnosis Session?

A common question people have about hypnosis is how much will you remember? You're going to remember at least some of it. About as much as you would from a normal conversation, or about as much as you would from scrolling my website and watching my videos.

Hypnosis is not sleep. You are aware the whole time. You just feel deeply focused, and the outside world begins to matter less and less as you go in to make internal shifts. But even if you do start to drift off into a daydream, your mind is still listening.

Many people are surprised at how much time seems compressed during a session, but at it's not because you fall asleep. It's because you get into a flow state of focus. And when you start to direct your focus, your brain is absorbing information. It's learning.  And this process of hypnosis, just make sure you're absorbing something that is useful, something that is going to change your life.
